Comics and animation have long been an essential part of Hong Kong’s pop culture. Since the 1960s, characters such as Old Master Q, Ngau Chai and Father from Myboy, Q boy, and Sau Nga Chun have been beloved by generations of Hong Kongers. More recent favourites, including Ding Ding Penguin, Tai Ma Shing, Oldgirl, and IT Guy & Art Girl, continue to resonate with today’s audiences. The Comics Fun Experience Gallery, curated by the Hong Kong Comics & Animation Federation, will take visitors on a journey through these classic comic and animation characters, highlighting their deep-rooted influence on Hong Kong’s cultural landscape. The exhibition features themed photo spots where iconic characters appear in comic-style settings infused with distinctive Hong Kong elements, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of comics and take pictures with their favourite characters. Join us to explore the timeless charm of comics. Don’t miss this chance to immerse yourself in a Comics Fun adventure!
